Jeff Whitehorn is an executive coach and consultant who is certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation (ICF).  ICF certification is known as the “gold standard” in the coaching profession.  In addition, he is certified

by the Center for Coaching Certification as a Certified Master Coach. He works with leaders in healthcare and other industries to enhance their leadership skills.  Jeff helps his clients to navigate their career paths in order to maximize their potential and reach peak performance.  

Jeff enjoyed a successful career of 29 years in hospital administration, serving as CEO of six hospitals and COO of two others.  As a CEO, he mentored rising stars from his teams to help them grow and advance in their careers.  He also assisted physicians who sought to strengthen their managerial and business skills.

After he retired from HCA Healthcare, Jeff became a Certified Master Coach and established his own business, Whitehorn Coaching and Consulting. He currently utilizes the knowledge gained from his career to benefit clients in their own careers.


Jeff earned his BS degree in Accounting from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and his MBA from the University of Alabama.  In 2013, he was recognized as Lipscomb University’s Alumnus of the Year.  Jeff is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and continues to serve in leadership roles as a member of community boards and committees.  He is a member of Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, where he serves as an elder, a Bible class teacher, and a Missions Ministry Committee member.  Jeff and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Brentwood, TN and have two grown daughters, Ashleigh and Emily.
